Help Get Children Sponsored through Blog for Compassion Month

If you remember, last week I mentioned that I am joining with Compassion International to try and get 3,108 children sponsored this month.

This is going to be a short post, but I have three things I want to ask you to do today and this week.

Today (when you read this post):
Head over to the sponsor a child page and pray for the children.
- Pray that they become sponsored, some children have waited for months for sponsorship.
- Pray that the children come to know Jesus.
- Pray for God to protect them, many of these children live in areas affected by AIDS and in places with a higher risk of exploitation and abuse

During the week:
Go back to the sponsor a child page, or for the first time, and pray that God reveal his heart for the poor to you.

For the parents, aunts, uncles, & grandparents - head over to the sponsor a child page with your child, niece  nephew, or grandchild and turn it into a learning opportunity about children around the world.

If you feel led I would greatly encourage you to sponsor a child, or two, or three if you can afford to. If you do so let everyone at the Louisiana Bride Blog know by commenting. If you already sponsor a child comment, email, tweet, or FaceBook me and let me know about your experience and what led you to sponsor a child. I would love to have someone share their story on the blog.
