Christmas and Thanksgiving have very similar menus in our family. I know a lot of people say they are sick of turkey, so they cook steaks on Christmas. Not us! We are a small crowd, so the only turkey we get is what Mom cooks those two days of the year. It's a shame we don't eat that turkey more. Side dishes are the made in our parts, tired and true. I've tried to venture out of the norm...with little enthusiasm. These people don't like harsh change. Then again, I've threatened to not attend if Sweet Potato Souffle wasn't made.
Guess I can't judge.
