[What is Meal Pinning Monday?]
MPM is how I meal plan for our little family. I once spent a lot of time searching the web and my recipe books hunting for new recipes and ideas for what to cook every week. Then, Pinterest came along and made meal planning much easier for me. Every weekend I look over what I have pinned the prior week and decide what I would like to cook and make my grocery list from these recipes. MPM came about as a way to share what I am cooking, and to also see what others are cooking every week to hopefully get even more dinner ideas from other bloggers. If you don't pin your recipes feel free to just share what you are cooking.

...................................................................
For lunch this week I am having a spinach salad with grilled chicken, carrots, cucumbers, olives, and balsamic vinegar. Breakfast is what I have posted on Wednesday. With all of the recipes I've managed to stick to the Whole30 rules of no added sugar, no grains, legumes, dairy, and white potatoes. I've heard a massive headache is in order the first two days as you detox from sugar, we'll see how that goes. Hopefully by increasing the amount of meat protein I eat I will be fuller and not want to eat carbs. I'm suspicious that my carb love comes from the lack of protein I eat. Granted I eat my daily recommended amount per day, but not until dinner usually. Eating lean meat at lunch could possible give me the energy to go all day without dying for snacks constantly. In college I ate grilled chicken for lunch and dinner, but once I started teaching the time that went into prepping ahead took precedence and I just went vegetarian during the day to make it easy. I'm not a huge meat eater, but if it helps out digestively I'm down with it, I've been having problems lately and that is the main reason why I am removing dairy and grains from my diet for a month. Just trying to narrow down what the problem is.
If anyone has ideas for breakfast and lunch for Whole30, or even Paleo please let me know. Otherwise, things will get repetitive. I'm trying to not spend a ton, while still eating really clean. When I don't eat clean I get super sick, so it is a constant struggle between being frugal and not having constant stomach problems.
