[What is Meal Pinning Monday?]
MPM is how I meal plan for our little family. I once spent a lot of time searching the web and my recipe books hunting for new recipes and ideas for what to cook every week. Then, Pinterest came along and made meal planning much easier for me. Every weekend I look over what I have pinned the prior week and decide what I would like to cook and make my grocery list from these recipes. MPM came about as a way to share what I am cooking, and to also see what others are cooking every week to hopefully get even more dinner ideas from other bloggers. If you don't pin your recipes feel free to just share what you are cooking.
Y'all may have noticed Pinterest changed its embed coding. I'm not the biggest fan, so until I decide I like it I am just uploading the photos and linking the recipe title to the blog and recipe. Feel free to just list out your meals and link them up. If you have any recipes you want to share feel free to link those up as well, we are always looking for new recipes around here:)
Monday:: Chicken Spaghetti (I never got around to it last week, I'm also trying out a few healthy replacements and I'll blog them after we try them out)
Tuesday:: Leftovers -it makes enough for 6-8 people :)
Wednesday:: Leftovers
Thursday:: Paleo Chicken Kiev with Roasted Broccoli
Friday:: Grilled Peanut Chicken with Sauteed Cabbage (I will probably use almond butter)
Saturday:: Grilled Chicken Sandwiches with Goat Cheese, Baby Spinach, and Cranberry Sauce with Sweet Potato Fries >>> I'll blog the recipe after we make it<<<
Sunday:: Eating out with friends
I'm going to try and have us eating as clean as possible for dinner by lowering our dairy/grain intake. Breakfast and lunch are easy for me, it's finding things that also interest Jeremy for dinner that's the kicker. While I'd love to do Whole 30 all day every day, it's just not possible, so we're sticking with the 80/20 method and just trying to make sure that 80% of my meals are more along the lines of Paleo. It definitely makes a huge difference in how I feel when I cut out dairy and limit my grains.
Breakfast:: Clean Eating Pancakes
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad with baby spinach, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and apple cider vinegar dressing.
