Click the link at the bottom to read my post about how even though I might not say things to my husband I am still thinking them... and it's just as bad.

I know I'm late, it's been a weird week already.
Better now than never... because a few weeks from now I'll be wondering what on earth I want to make and will be scouring my previous meal plans.

I somehow contracted the virus from my child.
I say somehow, but I know clearly how. The how is that I always catch this mess 3 fold and Jeremy runs off unscathed by the diseases passed in this house.
So there was no meal planning post this week.
In fact scrolling social media posed a problem because it appeared at the exact moment my life began to end everyone took a hiatus from posting about their kids and uploaded a shot of their dinner.
Gag.
So what has my week looked like outside of the bathroom?
Yesterday I couldn't bare the idea of leaving bed so I actually looked for sub. Today I couldn't bare the idea of looking for a sub so I took my stomach cramps to work.
In case you were wondering... this is where teaching sucks. Finding a replacement is impossible. All the planning that goes into not being at work isn't worth it. I'd almost assume die in that classroom than attempt to find a sub most times.
So yeah, I haven't cooked dinner. I haven't posted about cooking dinner. I haven't even thought about what I want to cook next week for dinner.
All that to say... I didn't vanish this week. I'm just in the bathroom eating rice and trying to not die immediately.

It's Friday and all I can think is TGIF, who's with me?

Last night we were talking and I noticed Harrison had pulled the quilt down from the chair and was using it as hills and holes while he played with this characters... it was just really cute.
I don't think I've said this 30 plus times but... I like this stage.

We got a family set of Bombas socks in the mail this week... I'm finding my feet hurt less when I workout with these on. If you want to snag a pair for yourself use code NOLAMOM for 20% off your order.

Somehow my mother has never managed to go on the Avery Island tour of the Tabasco plant that's in town. This time I grabbed a bag of the Tabasco Chez-Its, heavenly y'all. They are 100 times more amazing then the regular flavor.

I broke down and got a gym membership again. I mainly did it because with the Faster Way workouts and the running that's involved I "needed" it. See also... I can't stand running outside.
What I've been doing everyday is the weight part of the FWTFL workouts at home and then heading to the gym after bedtime for any cardio that's involved. Last night was Hill Intervals, also known as I almost died.
Planet Fitness is my new jam though, it might be the farthest gym from my house but for 20 bucks I can get on a Hydro Massage bed after every workout. So that is worth the money alone.

I made this non-recipe-recipe this week for dinner and am absolutely obsessed. If y'all want an actual recipe posted just let me know and I'll cook it up again, it won't hurt my feelings one bit to eat this for every meal.
The price you pay when your birthday is two days away from your mother's birthday is that she gets to pick the cake and then attempts to put a Ninja Turtle edible wrap on your cake.
Lucky for Harrison, ice cream is his love language so there was no disappointment over my traditional Dairy Queen ice cream cake request.
This poor kid is going to think his birthday last for a literal week.
We started off Saturday by eating cake for my birthday... and he blew out the candles. Afterwards we ordered Johnny's Pizza for his birthday.
Sunday we went to Cracker Barrel for my birthday dinner.
Then Wednesday we blew out candles again and ate the remaining cake for Harrison's birthday.
Hence a birthday cake that saw two sets of candles, twice the singing, and a kid that thought he was the sole person being celebrated.
Now what's new for Harry at 3?
He's finally started speaking more since New Year's. He'll be starting speech this year for his delay, but the kid has really starting jabbering more.
Yay for longer sentences!
Recently he has started combining our names... granted I'm still Tete against my will. Now he yells out "Tete Daddy" then if he actually wants Jeremy he follows that up with 3 more Daddy's.
I think of it like an old grandmother that calls everyone's name before she lands on the right one.
His favorite foods are ice cream and pizza. He will eat other things, and many other things when he's at the sitter... but all in all he does give a big cheer when pizza shows up.
Harrison is a die hard water drinker. He absolutely refuses flavored drinks, and I couldn't be happier about that.
On top of that his got a funny little sense of humor and is constantly pretending. He is usually a cat, dog, or turtle, but his ability to stay in character is hilarious.
